Simulations

Participants will work in small groups of 4-5 healthcare professionals, engaging in a realistic
traumatic death scenario with a simulated patient and two standardized patients portraying
the child’s parents.

The course begins with a 45-minute didactic session on evidence-based strategies for
supporting grieving families. Participants then apply their learning in a structured simulation,
followed by a comprehensive debrief to reflect, discuss challenges, and strengthen professional
resilience.
